Watch your back, stay off the track!

There’s a winner in the “Name that Slogan” contest. According to AZcentral.com, the winning slogan is “Watch your back, stay off the track” by Ann Shannon of Scottsdale.

Congrats, Ann! Ann gets a year pass on the light rail, but apparently she will give it to charity. She lives in Scottsdale, so I’m assuming she wants to give it to someone who will get more use out of it than she will.

I took the picture of the sign awhile back, but I thought it was appropriate for today. Valley Metro has a few things drivers should be watching for now that the rail is up and running. Click here for more details.

Meantime…I hear LRV horns honkin’ all the time and it sounds GREAT!

Seriously, I’m such a geek about all this. It just sounds so cool hearing all the activity on Central Ave.
