Find your dreamboat on the bus
I’m going to veer off the light rail and carfree course to talk about speed dating on a bus.
February is Rideshare Month, and Valley Metro is hosting an event to hook you up.
On the eve of Valentine’s Day, the mass transit organization is working with the folks at Cupid.com to host a speed dating event called Find Your Match.
The fun starts on the bus, followed by a soiree at Scottsdale’s hip Hotel Indigo complete with appetizers and drink specials.
I just had this weird flashback of a sorority date dash at the UA.
Anywho, Valley Metro hopes to connect people with a love for sharing the commute in a fun singles setting.
As of this post, there are only two spots left for women, and a wait list for the men. All the single ladies, now put your hands up! Oh, oh, oh. (I am sorry. I tried to resist.)

Ha! I cannot believe I did not see this sooner. I’m not sure if I’d ever try speed dating, but what a great and creative idea. Interesting that there’s a longer wait list for men (not sure if I’m surprised or not).
And I just have to say that I’m now dancing to this damn song again. Damn you Beyonce and your truly addictive song!! Every single time I hear it or it’s mentioned I’m on my feet.
