I heart Downtown Phoenix

Cupid strikes in Downtown Phoenix, but in a very friendly love-your-neighbor sort of way. People who live in and work in the heart of the city may notice random acts of kindness in the heart of the city today – it’s all part of an effort to show the love here in Phoenix. While many people are spending the weekend showing husbands and wives, boyfriends and girlfriends, or significant others how much they care…don’t forget about other relationships in your life. Your friends, your coworkers, your city….
As we celebrate Valentine’s Day this weekend, here are ways to show the love on the lightrail with your fellow passengers:
- Don’t rush, the next train will arrive shortly
- Let passengers deboard before boarding
- Be nice, give up your seat to someone who may want to sit down
- Smile
- Say hello
- Don’t sit in the bike rack area if you’re not riding a bike
- Don’t go for a free ride, purchase your fare at the kiosk
- Offer to take a light rail newbie for a trip downtown
- See someone who needs help? Show them the way
- Wave to the driver

Happy Valentine’s Day!
