Celebrating St Patrick’s Day along the light rail

Over on the Facebook fan page, Jennifer asked the question ‘is there an Irish restaurant or pub on the light-rail route?‘ The answer is yes, there are a couple along the light rail route in Downtown Phoenix! Seamus McCaffrey’s (Central and Washington station) is a short walk north of the station between 1st Avenue and Central on Monroe. Turf (Central station) is also a short walk from the light rail on 1st Street north of Pierce. For more information, check out Seamus McCaffrey’s and Turf on their sites. Remember, don’t drink and drive – be safe and use the light rail, ride a bike, take a taxi or ride a pedicab! Happy St. Patrick’s Day!

Don’t drink and ride your bike either. That isn’t a good combination.
(Technically you can be cited for DUI/DWI on a bike.)
