Dining with the Divas at My Florist Cafe

I just checked with Keith at My Florist Cafe (on McDowell, west of the light rail station) and he says there are still tickets available to Dining with the Divas – a brunch to benefit 1in1o. In case you’re not familiar with the organization – 1in10 provides a safe environment for LGBT youth and works to promote positive self acceptance through life enhancing programs. The teens learn everything from health and HIV related topics to suicide prevention.

The brunch is being held this Sunday at My Florist. Here’s a description about the event from the 1in10 website:

Please join us for the first-ever “Dining with the Divas: A NEW Brunch Experience.” Sassy and sexy entertainment from 5 of Arizona’s greatest divas; Lucinda Holiday, Tucson’s Queen of Comedy; Tempest DuJour, The Flower of the Desert; Ajia Simone, Tucson’s Black Cat; Barbra Seville, Queen of Everything; and Nevaeh McKenzie. There are two seatings, 11:00am and 1:00pm. Enjoy special brunch dishes PLUS unlimited mimosas and Bloody Marys for only $30 per person, including tax and tip. With only 80 tickets available for each seating this is sure to be a quick seller, and advance purchase is required.
