Weekend events along the Phoenix light rail

Looking to get out and about this fine weekend in Phoenix? Grab your bike, hop on the light rail and try one of these fun events in the heart of the city!
Phoenix Improv Festival at the Herberger Theater, use the light rail and deboard at Central Station and head east on Van Buren to 2nd Street. Event information can be found here.
Coffee, Cookies and Crafts is a celebration of independent art & crafts in Phoenix, Arizona. The first event will be held at Bragg’s Pie Factory, on Saturday, April 24, 2010 from noon to 5pm. Use the light rail and deboard at Central Station and head westbound on Van Buren. Best to use a bike in addition to the rail. Event info is here.
Phoenix Pride Festival and Parade celebrates and promotes the history, diversity and future prosperity of the metropolitan Phoenix LGBT community. The 30th anniversary event is being held at Steele Indian School park. The parade is Saturday at 11 am, however the festival goes on all weekend. Headliners this year include 80′s favorites Joan Jett and Berlin! Use the light rail and deboard at the Indian School station. Event and Concert information can be found here.
Pat Tillman Run brings together more than 20,000 runners and walkers at Sun Devil Stadium to celebrate the life and legacy of former ASU and Arizona Cardinals football star and Army Ranger, Pat Tillman. The event takes place on Saturday at 9:15 am. Information on the event can be found here. Use the light rail and deboard at the Tempe Transportation Center. Sun Devil stadium is a five to 10 minute walk from the station.
Civic Space Jam is a family-friendly free dance party at Civic Space Park. The event takes place on the third Sunday of every month from 4 pm to 9 pm.
