Western Finals Basketball Action in Phoenix

The METRO light rail may continue to see heavy ridership numbers during the month of May now that the Phoenix Suns are in the Western Conference Finals. Dates for the game have yet to be announced, but it is certain that part of the finals will be played at the USAirways Center (3rd Street/Jefferson station) in downtown Phoenix.
I went to my first Phoenix Suns game (ever!) last Wednesday night for game 2 of the Suns-Spurs playoffs. You may recall this was the night the Suns debuted their Los Suns jerseys. The game was so much fun…so much energy in the arena, it’s hard not to get swept up in all the action! Speaking of being swept up, the Suns won their series with the Spurs in four games.
Tickets to the conference finals go on sale today (Monday) at 2 p.m. and can be purchased here. You might also want to keep tabs on the team’s Facebook page for special deals on tickets or follow them on Twitter. Information on how to ride the light rail or use the park and ride lots as part of your trip to downtown Phoenix can be found here.
