The Phoenix light rail runs just south of the Phoenix Zoo. The popular Valley attraction sees nearly 1.5 million visitors every year. Locals and visitors alike love the wildlife and fundraising events, in fact the zoo was voted one of the nation’s top five zoos for kids. Phoenix Zoo (455 Gavin Parkway, Phoenix) is accessible from the Priest and Washington light rail station. Deboard and head north across Washington to pick up a Valley Metro bus which takes you directly to the zoo.
