I've found that my cats cry much less on public transit than in a car. Cain has taken the bus to the vet and barely cried, but in a car? The inhumanity of a trip in the car. When I got Willa, we were on the light rail and bus, and she did talk a lot on the light rail, but she's a Siamese and she was nervous about being in a carrier anyway.
