Those of you who know me know I rarely go see movies, so when I do it’s a big deal. Well, last night I went all out. Not only did I go to the movies, but I went to see Avatar in 3D. (I know, big doins!) I’ve never seen a movie in 3D before (what??) and I would highly recommend seeing the flick in this format. Avatar gives new meaning to the phrase eye-candy. The movie is so visually stimulating, good story line, amazing production quality – it’s a great blockbuster! If you haven’t made it out to see this movie, now is a good time. And in case you didn’t know, there’s an AMC 24 right in the heart of Downtown Phoenix at the Arizona Center. The shopping district is a quick walk from the lightrail (Central station). Information on how to ride the lightrail in Phoenix can be found here.

ps: I thought 3D glasses were white frames with one blue and one red lens?? Ok, I’ll stop.
