Phoenix Light Rail Ridership Numbers for August 2010

METRO Light Rail served 150,000 more riders in August 2010 than the previous August, according to information on METRO’s website. Managers of our light rail system here in Phoenix are doing a happy dance. According to the METRO light rail Facebook page, the system experienced its highest ridership month ever since opening back in December of 2008. March had 1,161,733 boardings and surprisingly the first week of March had more than 40,000 boardings each day. [...]
